Common questions

Q. Do I need to drill into the wall to install this?
A. No. It installs with a no-drill clamp. Turn the center dial and both sides extend at once — done in about 30 seconds, no holes in your wall or door frame.
Q. Will it fit my door frame? How do I measure?
A. Measure the inner width of your door frame, side to side (not including trim) — it fits 72–96cm, which covers 90%+ of standard doors. Also check that the flat mounting surface is at least 2.5 in (6.2 cm) deep; a shallower surface may not hold securely.
Q. What’s the maximum load, really?
A. Three numbers to know: in destructive static testing it held 1,500 lb without damage or deformation; with a safety margin applied, the rated static load is 660 lb; the recommended user weight is 220 lb or under. 1,500 lb is a structural test limit, not a “safe to use at that weight” number — avoid swinging, jumping, or dropping onto the bar, since dynamic loads can spike to 2–3x static load. AUTOLOCK™ means the clamp presses harder the more weight is applied.
Q. How is this different from a standard pull-up bar?
A. The grip extends up to 33 in versus roughly 23.5 in on a standard bar, engaging your lats (back) more than a narrow grip does. Both sides expand together, so it’s easier to get level. In destructive static testing it held 1,500 lb. Recommended user weight is up to 220 lb.
Q. Can I do more than pull-ups on it?
A. Yes — hanging leg raises, inverted rows, and dead-hang stretches all work well. Dips (supporting your body weight on top of the bar) aren’t supported by this product’s structure.
Q. Will it work on any door frame material?
A. It installs on wood, metal, and PVC/plastic frames. It’s not recommended for film-laminated (vinyl-wrapped) frames — the surface is too slick for a secure clamp — or for walls with no real frame, like bare concrete or drywall.
Q. Is there a warranty?
A. Yes — 1 year from purchase, covering manufacturing defects in the structure, lock, or level. It doesn’t cover wear items (grip coating, resistance bands) or damage from misuse, disassembly, or drops.
